Women's Health

The Women’s Health Mandate is a component of Healthcare Reform specifically addressing covered services through insurance as it relates to women. Insurance policies demonstrating compliance to the Women’s Health Mandate provide benefits for breastfeeding equipment and supplies with no cost sharing (no out of pocket cost to the member). Most insurance policies require members to obtain breastfeeding equipment and supplies from a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider such as Aeroflow Breastpumps. Aeroflow uniquely serves its patient population after dispensing a double electric breast pump through continual service via Aeroflow’s Breast Pump Resupply Program.

Resupply services are important as a double electric breast pump includes replacement items apart from the pump motor such as valves, tubing, flanges, membranes, and milk storage collection containers. These items are essential to successful pumping and breastfeeding support, which overtime may require replacement after frequent use.

Aeroflow Offers Resupply

Aeroflow offers resupply services based on specific plan guidelines for up to three month intervals over the duration of one year. This means the professionals at Aeroflow will check your insurance policy coverage to see if you are eligible for resupply. Once coverage is determined Aeroflow will notify existing patients through email communication. All you have to do is confirm your shipping address and approve the application for processing. Aeroflow will respond to the submission by mailing the breast pump supplies right to your home.

If you have acquired a breast pump through Aeroflow Breastpumps and wish to know if you are eligible for resupplies, contact us to schedule your breast pump resupply. Should you have additional questions, speak directly with one of our Breastpump Specialists by calling 844.867.9890.
