Practical Support Without the Fluff
We know your time is valuable. That’s why our classes skip the fluff and focus on practical, real-life tips that make a meaningful difference as you prepare for your baby. Whether you are looking for nutrition advice for a healthy pregnancy or straightforward pumping strategies, our goal is to provide helpful information that simplifies your daily routine.
Led by Experienced Lactation Consultants and Dietitians
Quality education starts with expertise. All Aeroflow birth, breastfeeding, and newborn care classes are led by experienced lactation professionals including Registered Nurses (RNs), International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), and Certified Lactation Counselors (CLCs). For our nutrition-focused sessions, you’ll learn directly from Registered Dietitians (RDs). Our experts bring clinical knowledge and "in-the-trenches" experience to every session, ensuring you receive the highest level of care and evidence-based instruction.
Personal, Judgement-Free Support for Your Journey
Every family’s feeding journey is unique, and we’re here to support you—whatever feeding path you choose. Our classes provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where you can receive straightforward, practical guidance tailored to your specific goals. We’ve designed our classes to feel personal, so you can get the support you need to navigate every milestone—from mastering latching techniques to managing the transition back to work as a nursing or pumping mom.
FAQ
Can my partner attend my breastfeeding class?
Yes! Your partner is welcome and encouraged to attend any of our online birth and breastfeeding classes!
What will I learn in a breastfeeding class?
Our breastfeeding classes are designed to give you both practical skills and the confidence to feed your baby. Aeroflow classes cover a mix of biology, technique, and real-life problem solving.
When in my pregnancy should I take a breastfeeding class?
We recommend taking a breastfeeding class between the late second and early third trimesters of pregnancy, typically around 24 to 32 weeks, but it's never too early or too late!
Will a breastfeeding class help if I also want to start pumping?
Absolutely! Our classes help families find their best feeding plan with education and skills for breastfeeding, pumping, or combination feeding. Learning key skills is essential whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, or doing both.
Will my breastfeeding class be recorded?
Our breastfeeding classes are only recorded for internal business purposes. Since classes are interactive and personal, this helps protect patient privacy. Recordings are not shared publicly.
Are there clear strategies or just theory?
We combine real-life practical tips with clear education—so you not only learn what to do, but understand why it works.
Who is teaching the class?
Our breastfeeding classes are led by a team of experienced lactation professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs), International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), and Certified Lactation Counselors (CLCs), who bring both clinical expertise and real-world experience to support your feeding goals.
Is there support after the class?
Yes! You’ll receive an after-class email with resources, including videos, access to our Facebook group, and information about how to sign up for more classes or book a one-on-one appointment with one of our lactation providers.
Understanding Your Insurance Coverage
Our classes and appointments are billed under your preventive lactation benefit, which is a fully covered benefit under most insurance plans. Have questions about classes and insurance coverage? We’re here to help you navigate your benefits. Learn More.
