Pumping Across the USA: Pumpspotting Diaries

After three short months, we've just wrapped up an incredible journey across the country on Barb, the breast express, with Pumpspotting's Feel Better, Feed Better Bus Tour! 

We met so many amazing people and their partners on this cross-country adventure and wanted to share all the exciting details! 

We're thrilled to help new moms by providing the best nutrition for their babies through breastfeeding and pumping. And because Aeroflow Breastpumps is all about supporting mamas throughout their breastfeeding journey, partnering with Pumpspotting to meet mamas across the country was a perfect fit! We share the same goal: to nurture a new generation of support for breastfeeding parents.

Now, let's get to the good stuff—our tour highlights! We visited so many incredible cities and met countless amazing mamas along the way. Here are some of our favorite moments:

Our stop in Austin was spectacular! We set up shop right in the heart of the city, and the turnout was incredible.

Many of the moms we met were curious about different types of breast pumps. We had the opportunity to showcase various hands-free pump options, including electric pumps and wearable pumps. Many moms were excited to discover new pumping options, especially those that allow them to multitask during pumping sessions.

One mom, Janine, was thrilled to learn about hands-free pumping options with adjustable suction levels that could help her maintain her milk supply while juggling her busy schedule.

The Dallas stop was a true testament to the power of community. We had moms from all walks of life come together to share their experiences and support each other.

We met Jessica, a working mom who was struggling to pump at her office. She was concerned about her milk output and finding time to pump during her workday. After chatting with our team and other mamas, she left feeling empowered and armed with knowledge about her rights as a breastfeeding employee. We also introduced her to wearable pump options that could make pumping at work more convenient.

Our Chicago stop was a whirlwind of activity! We set up near Millennium Park, and the response was overwhelming. We loved seeing all those proud, badge-wearing mamas! 

One of our favorite moments was when a group of first-time moms circled up and exchanged contact info—talk about the magic of Pumpspotting in action!

While we could throw a bunch of stats at you (like how we reached thousands of moms across the country, how many new moms and moms-to-be we introduced to new breast pumps, and more), what really matters are the individual stories and connections made along the way.

We saw moms who came to us feeling isolated and left with a spring in their step and a support network in their pocket. We witnessed the joy on one mom’s face when she realized she could get a free breast pump through her insurance provider. Many were surprised to learn that their insurance plans often cover a wide range of options, including electric breast pumps and accessories! We even celebrated with mamas who overcame breastfeeding challenges and were thriving in their journey.
