This privacy policy sets out how Aeroflow Breastpumps, and its parent company, Aeroflow Inc., collect, use, and disclose personal information that you give when you interact with aeroflowbreastpumps.com (“Aeroflow Breastpumps”) (the “Site”).

The Site may collect information that is considered protected health information, as governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), such as information related to devices purchased as part of a health insurance-supported transaction or information related to health insurance eligibility. This Privacy Policy does not apply to protected health information. Please refer to our Notice of HIPAA Privacy Policies below, which governs protected health information collected through the Site.

Changes to this Privacy Policy will be updated on this page, as indicated by the “Last Updated” date.

1. Collection of Your Personal Information

We may collect your personal information directly from you (such as when you interact with the Site, make a purchase, write a product review, and contact us), as well as from our vendors, affiliates, other individuals, and business partners.

In the event of a business transaction, such as in connection with a contemplated reorganization or an actual reorganization of our business, financing, a sale, or other transactions involving the disposal of all or part of our business or assets, including for the purpose of permitting the due diligence required to decide whether to proceed with a transaction.

We reserve the right to convert, or permit others to convert, your personal information into deidentified, anonymized, or aggregated data, as permitted by law.

If you receive marketing emails from us, you may opt out through the email’s instructions, as provided. Please note that regardless of your email preferences, we may send you notifications pertaining to the performance of our services, such as transactional communications relating to products you have purchased.

When using the Site, you may come across links or interactive features related to third-party websites and services that we do not operate or control. For example, certain third-party interactive features may allow you to share Site content to your social media profile. California customers may request a list of the third parties to whom a business has disclosed personal information during the preceding calendar year for third-party direct marketing purposes. Requests must include “California Shine the Light Privacy Rights Request” in the first line of the description, and include your name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code.

Get a list of those with whom we’ve shared information

• You can ask for a list (accounting) of the times we’ve shared your health information for six years prior to the date you ask, who we shared it with, and why.

• We will include all the disclosures except for those about treatment, payment, and health care operations, and certain other disclosures (such as any you asked us to make). We’ll provide one accounting a year for free but will charge a reasonable, cost-based fee if you ask for another one within 12 months.

Treat you

We can use your health information and share it with other professionals who are treating you.

Example: A doctor requesting equipment to assist you asks another doctor about your overall health condition.

Bill for your services

We can use and share your health information to bill and get payment from health plans or other entities. 

Example: We give information about you to your health insurance plan so it will pay for your services. 

How else can we use or share your health information?

We are allowed or required to share your information in other ways – usually in ways that contribute to the public good, such as public health and research.
